About

Born in the Principality of Monaco in 2019, the Series made the step up to the upper tier just one year later by being entitled as the first-ever UCI E-Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup providing eligible points to access the UCI World Championship

E-Cross-Country (E-XC) is WES core racing discipline: extreme gravity conditions, for specifically designed tracks, raced with a mass start on a lap, repeated for multiple laps. Men and Women riders race together, and receive equal prize moneys and media exposure. Races are open to Pros 19+ to Masters. This UCI World Cup doesn’t require the Elite Team registration, but the Riders’.

To participate as a Wildcard, riders shall request their National Federation a UCI Daily Licence, unless their national licence features a UCI code.

International Networking and Workshops are organised together with local authorities and the electric industry to discuss e-mobility options and the key role of e-bikes as a sustainable vehicle, along with the development of electric sports and cycle-tourism.

THE FORMAT

WES is the first world series reserved to E-bikes only, the sole UCI E-Mountain Bike Cross-Country World Cup and it includes the E-Bike Fest, the Amateur side event.

Double race format in a weekend, the circuit being 3 to 4 km, multiple laps – 7 or 8 depending on the lap length – resulting in a 20 to 30 km total distance with a 1000 to 1400 m climbing. While providing riders with eligible points to access the UCI E-MTB XC World Championship, WES is also an unmissable attraction for all E-Bike lovers.
