Michal Svárovský: A rising star

Michal Svárovský is a 26-year-old cyclist from the Czech Republic and a member of the Proofy Cycling Team with a journey that began at the young age of 13.

Michal’s passion for cycling was inspired by his brother’s involvement in the sport. Over the years, he competed in the national championships in Lower Moravia and the eBike Series in Girona.

The evolution of an E-Biker

His first experience with e-bike racing marked a hift in his approach to the sport.

“When I started, I thought I had to treat the bike the same way as a normal bike,” Michal explains. “But after spending time on it, I realized it requires a different approach. It’s about giving more space to the bike, playing with it, and adapting to its characteristics.”

A preference for Cross Country

While Michal appreciates both enduro and Cross Country racing, his heart leans toward Cross Country. He enjoys the blend of technical tracks and more traditional routes. Looking to the future, He is eager to explore other formats.
