Jan Miró: The Youngest WES Rider of All Time

Jan Miró, a rising star from Catalunya, has made history as the youngest rider to compete in the WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup . Riding for the Artesana Bafang team, Jan’s journey into e-biking started only three or four years ago, inspired by his father.

Before e-bikes, Jan was already a dedicated cyclist, passionate about enduro and downhill, and he quickly adapted to the e-biking demands.

“Unlike regular bikes, e-bikes allow riders to tackle intense uphill and downhill sections with a boost from the motor, enabling me to maximize my training in shorter, efficient sessions”, he said. While training on a traditional bike may require several hours, e-bikes allow him to achieve a similarly rigorous workout in about one to two hours.

The Team

Jan credits his team and their gear, especially the Bafang motor, for his successes in the WES competitions. The Bafang engine, paired with a durable 960 battery, provides the strength and endurance necessary for courses, helping Jan stay competitive. His goal for the future is clear: continue racing with his team and ultimately stand on the top podium at a WES event.

At such a young age, Jan Miró’s achievements are inspiring a new generation of riders.
