From August 29-30, WES UCI E-MTB XC World Cup witnessed a great double race at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
The event brought smiles to the riders’ faces, despite the challenge of two contrasting weather conditions – one sunny day and another under rain.
The demanding Spa-Francorchamps circuit, surrounded by greenery, hosted victories by Justine Tonso (Lapierre Overvolt), Sofia Wiedenroth (Specialized), and Joris Ryf (Specialized).
Following Spa, the anticipation continued to build as riders looked forward to the Germany Round Presented by Schwalbe, in Bielstein (September 2-3).
German riders showed enthusiasm and local support, with a spotlight on Sofia Wiedenroth and Antonia Daubermann (Advanced E-Racing).
The German track captivates both riders and fans by featuring fast-paced corners, steep ascents, descents, and even a tunnel.
The surroundings and technical challenges added to the event’s allure, making it a memorable experience for all involved, as Justine Tonso and Jérôme Gilloux (Lapierre Overvolt) got the double win.
