2022 WES Awards presented in Barcelona

Barcelona (Spain), 17 October 2022 – The last Round of WES 2022
season Presented by Magneti Marelli Checkstar took place in Castelldefels-Barcelona, last Saturday 15th October.

Since WES’ first edition back in 2019, Barcelona hosts the Grand Finale, with a one-shot race, and the awaited season Awards ceremony.
For the second full racing year of the UCI E-MTB XC World Cup, new awards and prizes have been introduced (in bold):

• World Cup Women’s and Men’s Winner
• World Cup Women’s and Men’s 2nd and 3rd place
• Winning Team
• Raspini Pole Position Women’s and Men’s Winner
• Magneti Marelli Checkstar Power Lap Women’s and Men’s Winner
• WES Holeshot Women’s and Men’s Winner

Some new exciting awards and prize moneys to come in 2023 will be announced along with the upcoming season calendar in the next few weeks.
