The top-50 classified Women and top-50 Men will take part in the following UCI E-MTB XC World Cup race. No separate results will be submitted for subcategories. Women and Men will continue competing together.
The UCI daily licence can be issued to National Federation licence holders aiming to challenge themselves as wildcards throughout the season. However, holding a permanent UCI licence provides extra sporting benefits, which are listed in the WES Regulations.
Top 15 Women and top 15 Men riders in the 2022 UCI E-MTB XC World Cup standings as of 1 August 2022 will get reserved quota places for the E-Mountain Bike race at the 2022 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships taking place on 24-28 August in France. Teams and Riders can apply now and for a limited period at a special price.
The track design continues to be the key for the series to make the most of an E-Bike. Each course will be unveiled prior to the event with the support of WES riders and special guests showing each racetrack’s features, and sharing their riding experience and tips. A mix of mountain, urban and seaside venues will take E-MTB racing to different types of location and terrain, and guarantee exciting competition for athletes and spectators.
WES expects an increasing interest from bike and motor manufacturers beside factory and private teams. The overall riders participation in the series is supposed to increase, in the global E-MTB scenario, as WES will grant improved media exposure, further to increased prize money, equal for Women and Men.
Communications plan and TV production will see a significant improvement, with more behind the scenes shots and interviews, along with the confirmed TV broadcast agreements.
WES Awards will be presented at each race to Women and Men:

It is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
